Soup Kitchen

12.30pm - 2.00pm
Monday Wednesday and Thursday

We run a soup kitchen during the week for those without a home or who find themselves in other difficult circumstances.  
The Soup Kitchen provides free food and drink, contacts with helpful organisations, an address for contact purposes, clothes, toiletries etc.

In addition to these provisions we also provide a listening ear for those who simply want someone to talk to.       

The soup kitchen, which started some years ago as a Friday Night
drop-in, is an important part of what we do in our church.  The running
of it is overseen by one of our members, Alan Lee (pictured above).

All the helpers, both church members and others, volunteer their time and we also receive donations of food, bedding and money from local people and businesses, for which we are always very grateful.
