Newquay United Reformed Church

The Harbour Mission

In 2010 Matthew Bray, one of our elders, Andrew Mitchell, our pastor and Ken Bray, one of our members, were appointed Trustees of the Seamen's Mission down at Newquay Harbour (referred to normally as the Harbour Mission).

In 2011 the church members decided to accept the invitation to run the Harbour Mission as a means of outreach to the fishing & local community and to holiday makers.

We have since been running the Mission at the Harbour, have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the community of fishermen and other locals down there and have had many opportunities to share the Good News of the Gospel with visitors to the mission.  We have a team of eager volunteers headed up by John & Lynn - so do pop down and pay them a visit - they would love to provide you with "a nice cuppa by the sea"!
